  4. You will receive a charitable income tax deduction for the gift portion of the annuity.
  5. You also receive satisfaction, knowing that you will be helping further our educational mission.

Types of Charitable Gift Annuities

Deferred Charitable Gift Annuity

Best for people 55 to 65 that do not need income right away or those 65 and older who do not want immediate income and want a higher income. The longer the deferral, the higher the annuity rate.

Flexible Deferred Charitable Gift Annuity

Best if you do not need income right away and want some flexibility as to when that income begins. With a flexible deferred gift annuity, you retain the flexibility to decide when the annuity will begin making payments. As with a deferred gift annuity, you establish the annuity today and receive a charitable deduction this year, but the payments are deferred until such time as you elect to begin receiving the payments.

IRA Rollover Charitable Gift Annuity

You must be 70½ years of age and have a traditional IRA.
