Giving from your Donor Advised Fund

1. Contact your sponsoring organization and recommend a gift/grant to the University of Indianapolis.

   • Please make checks payable to:

     University of Indianapolis
     1400 East Hanna Avenue
     Indianapolis, IN

   • EIN: 35-0868107

     If you would like to transfer funds electronically, please contact our office.

2. Complete our DAF Gift Information form
   • This form allows us to correctly identify your gift when the stock hits our account. We will follow your designation instructions and ensure your gift gets to the correct account(s). Additionally, a completed form helps us provide you with a receipt for your gift.
3. Receipt

   • Those who give to the University of Indianapolis through their donor advised fund do not receive a tax receipt from the University when the grant funds are received. The sponsoring organization issued a tax receipt at the time the sponsoring organization received your contribution. The University of Indianapolis will send an acknowledgement of our receipt of the grant. We will also send our appreciation for your support.
